Dr. Khan is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.  She has given lectures and has served as an expert discussant at various conferences and academic medical centers.

In addition, she has supervised and taught psychiatry residents, and has given lectures on Reproductive Psychiatry to residents, attending physicians, nurses and social workers in the Departments of Psychiatry, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Pediatrics.  

Most recently Dr. Khan taught a course on the Management of Psychiatric Disorders in Pregnant and Postpartum Women at the 2016 American Psychiatric Association 169th Annual Meeting, and led a roundtable discussion at the 2016 Biennial Meeting for the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology.
